Research Description
My research combines hands-on development with theory to advance active vibration
isolation platforms for ultra-precision applications. I build and tune multi-axis
active platforms and integrate inertial sensors and actuators to reject ground
disturbances in translation and rotation.
In parallel, I develop and validate MIMO controllers that maximize isolation performance. This practical-plus-theoretical approach supports demanding systems such as next-generation gravitational-wave instrumentation, where performance depends on both robust control design and reliable hardware implementation.
